You know you guys have succeeded in busting one of the longstanding myths, and that may get you in trouble!
For instance, how do you describe the color of your carpet? Of your lawn? Of the paint on the walls? A palette of half a dozen colors seems to serve well for this. Yet when describing a car, you have a much larger palette, at least 128 shades! Is this a learned or inherited condition?
Don't let your wives find out, or you'll have to help pick colors!
