Yep, you guys nailed it. He doesn't have any doc's and it has the 350 tranny so I am sure the 400 is not original. I could not see the numbers on the block because some hardware had been moved from its original position. Pretty poor job preping for paint...bubbles and over-spray. The whole restore looks fairly iffy. Certainly not worth 28k...more like 18k. Thanks a lot for the advice. You guys rock at spotting the little details from pictures and I felt more prepared when I saw the car. Wish me luck...the hunt continues...
