I changed from mono to mulit leafs on my 67 bird a while ago. The perches are different. I had a spacer made so I wouldn't have to change my perches. Wasn't exactly proper and made locating the sprongs a pain. I'd check into putting the correct perches on your rearend.Just my .02.
