The seller erred in failing to set his reserve price at auction start, and eBay did not respond to his request to add a reserve (you can't, once the auction started). So he cancelled the auction a couple of days before the scheduled end. If it hadn't sold right away, he'd have relisted with a reserve.
He said he learned more about the car in a week than all the time he's owned it.
Yes, to be a top $$ car it needs a few parts put back on and a few taken off, at least we agree it's a worthy car!
Yes, a nice car for sure. That seller is dumb like a fox. I told him about the problem about not having a reserve and he said that it wasn't a problem. He assured me that he knew exactly how eBay works. He said, "That's just the opening bid and it will go higher". That is a direct quote. It looks like he knows all the 'ins and outs'.
