It's different for an 8 than a 7. Only late 7's had vins. Early didn't so you only need correct dates and codes.
Greg, Your car can be considered numbers matching with the vin on the block. Some will be picky and want a few more original parts to say it's numbers matching. You, at least, have the major 'deal breaker' covered with the vin on the block. The heads are icing on the cake.
