WIth recent discussions showing a variance in the amount of firewall clearance to certain components, I'd like to know how much difference (in exact numbers if possible - asking a lot I know!) there is in the possible location of the front subframe. Those of you who have recently replaced the subframe bushings should have the best indication of the "adjustability" that exists.
Distributor-to-firewall clearance seems to be an important indicater as well. Any changes in room before and after subframe bushing replacement would be helpful too!
The reason behind this is that I have been using my '69 as a jig and had assumed that it was representative of most other FGF's in stance and subframe location. I have recently had cause to question that and am finding that my car may have more than the normal amount of clearance! TIA!
