No problem, I have to jump in whenever I can, usually the questions are already answered before I see them!
The 215 is indeed a Chev engine but it has its own unique piston size and engine displacement, and was only available in a Pontiac ('64-'65). It is the second smallest member of the family with a bore size of 3.750". The 194 is about 3.560" and the 230/250 engines are 3.875". The 194-215-230 engines all share the 3.25" stroke, with the 250 having a 3.53" stroke. The 292 truck engine was also in this family but has a taller block to go with the longer stroke needed.
You should be able to bolt in any of the Chev engines in that family with no troubles.
