I did see something on CNN about the Congressional investigations. But the war on terrorism takes front page so the story got as little time as possible. I'm POed to. To think I potentially could have been killing my pets is too much.
The think that irks me, is this is akin to terrorism. We don't know why the food was poisoned and it came into our country through our port. Obviously none of the 800 tons was inspected. The added powder is visible in the product. It was "human grade" food stuffs. Tampering of food imports was one of the suspected terrorist threats. Now it's a reality and the problem badly bungled.
