I was just reading up on that very topic Jim. Nasty if left untreated. I have had a fever for the last few days, and I received some insect bite on the back of my hand. I went to the Dr. today and it turns out not to be the case. The test results aren’t back yet, but it's probable a non specific infection.

The bite on my hand showed up Sunday night after I was out at my friend Pat's place. He's kinda out in the country. Here we get the bigger ticks. But that's not to say the small dear ticks, the type that carry Lymes Disease aren't around.

I just hate blood sucking parasitic insects.
