welcome aboard..... well, for you who dont know what a defroster is, its that thing in an old VW that blows cold air on the inside of the w/s so it freezes up when you breathe, maybe becuase its easier to scrape the ice off from the inside? lol
thats at least how my 58 bug was when I lived in Sweden!
luckily , not much need for that in Houston!
When I was growing up our family had four beetles at one time, two '62's, a '63 and a '64. I had to wipe the window for mom while she drove me to school on cold days. Had I known how simple it was to fix, we would have owned VW's a lot longer. The ’64 was the first car I ever drove... up and down the driveway.
