I have a TH400 tranny rebuilt with new torque converter ready to mount to a 400 engine. If I choose to bolt the tranny up to my existing 350 engine, do I only have to swap out the torque converter?
No, you don't have to swap the torque convertor. You can bolt your rebuilt trans and torque convertor right up to your existing 350.
