I thought it was my car until I saw how nice that thing is on its belly--very nice car. I believe he will get his price.
I saw one very similar to this one in Maryland--just red with a vinyl top. It sold for about $29,000 over a year ago and was not as nice as this one on the under side.
nice car, ....hopefully he gets a good price... I would NOT buy it , I ONLY use payPal on EBay now after my latest buying fiasco....I wont ever send cashiers checks or MO again...
I got the new issue of Pontiac Enthusiast yesterday. In it is a bone stock original unrestored Yellow 350 2 barrel in fantastic condidtion. It really looked nice, reminded me of Rocky Horror... "Do the Time Warp"
That car should bring a smile to Terry and Vikki.
Even I'd leave that one alone.
Wanting a Custom fit in an off the rack world.
I don't have time for a job, I just need the money.

I was reading that last night too. I was wondering how I could contact the owner.
This is the second go around for this car. I guess the buyer thought twice about his winning bid.
I looked this over the first time and had to challenge his description. He states the car was sold in California without emission controls (smog pump). Well, as we know CA was the first state to put laws into effect for lowered tail pipe gasses in ’67. So why did it get shipped from Lordstown, OH to CA without the smog controls?
In doing some serious research and asking the Poncho guru’s I found the reason. It’s because it has a manual trans. In CA, automatic trans cars received the pollution equipment, manual trans cars did not until the ’70 model year. Then they all got under the regulation.
It’s a very nice resto, and I didn’t see where the last auction price landed. But I’ll bet he’s shoot’n for the stars to get his investment back. But that’s ok, I hope he get’s it.
i bet it wont stay that way long.somebody will buy it and hack it up
might as well- its only an automatic anyway... nobody wants those.......
if you own it, you might as well do with it what you will. but you should pick a non numbers car if you want to hack it up. its already worthless. might as well imporve its disposition!

Yah. A friend of mine just found one. 69 with 350 4 speed with stacked gages and tach. Complete car with original drive train. He says it's too rusty to fix. I haven't seen it because he is in New York. A new member is checking it out as we speak. Let's see what he says about it. To save or not to save, we will get the answer.....
YAH!!! He kept saying 'rusty' in all different ways. LOL Rot, rotter, rotbucket, rustbucket, rottybird, rottenbird, rotty the bird, rotto bird, it was funny. This from a guy that's been restoring New York cars for decades. I'm sure I'll hear back from him or Joe tonight. They are dealin' on it right now.

Sounds like a dab of touch-up paint might not cover it.
