I am still trying to figure out the wiring mess under my dash. I looked at the wiring diagram for the 67. It doesn't show the radio wiring??? It has most or all of the other components. Anyone have a picture of the plug or can tell me the colors? I dont know if the wires that are there loose were hacked into for some kind of under dash guage setup. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks, Ill check it out. I was looking at her library at the actual colored wiring diagram. Showed everything but the radio. I didn't realize the service manual got into that much detail. Thanks

I'm working from memory here(suspect) so you should verify...also my experience is with a 69...yellow wire is for power, blue goes to rear speaker, should be a black for grnd and all the dash lights are orange w/blk stripe.
Strange because there is nothing coming out of the main harness in that area. I suspect if the plug was clipped I would still see some wiring.... I will look for a yellow wire. Thanks

Mike, the '69 used a yellow wire for power, light green for speaker (dash) and black for ground. These were on a flat (inline) plug. A separate gray wire with a press in socket is the lamp for the radio. But there were many changes to the harnesses over the three production years. So this may not apply.
