I assume the 69 A/C cars have the same / similar lower filler panel with the metal spoiler lip as the 67/68s do. I posted in the parts wanted section for one. Does anyone have information about these panels ? Were they the same for the 400s as in 67 ? Are they available aftermarket ? Thanks !
if you cannot find a used metal one...you might try a Fiberglass version , a repro that Ames sells FP 191L (is part no)...it is for 67,68...but may work with some 'rigging' on a 69...have not tried it myself..
I DO know the outer ends are a little different on 69 ,but 67-68 may still "work"..giving the airflow its designed for
Bjorn is correct, the '69 lower air dam's ends are different and overall the air dam is longer. I had purchaced one on ePay only to find it was a '67-8 air dam. Terry was kind enough to make a trade for a '69. One can never say enough good things amout da man! He may have a'69 lower air dam in the rafters somewhere.
