1. Re: ST300 2-sp trans. My 69 tranny has <63K orig miles and had new master kit <10K miles ago. Problem is a "clunk" sound and slight lurch on downshift when coming to a stop (only happens then, upshift fine). Fluid looks and smells clean. Is this a vacuum problem, and internal tranny issue, just due to old seals? Do I need to worry or just drive it?
2. Re: 69 original steering wheel options. I see 2 common repro wood steering wheels available, one all woood and one wood with the little round inserts (which I think looks cooler). Were they both options and thus correct in 69?
