Hey all,

First I want to thank everyone that helped me out with my project. I have been working on it since I bought it last June and just got it out on the road 2 weeks ago. It's a 68 OHC-6 1BBL.

I am a self taught mechanic and I have been working on cars for darn near 30 years now, but if it wasn't for the good folks on this site, I would still be scratching my head trying to figure some stuff out.

Great job. I love the Blue, what is the name of the color and brand of the paint?

Thanks for all the kind words. The color is Daytona Blue Metallic Pearl, Urethane Base Coat / Clear Coat. I could'nt afford PPG at $450 a gallon (just for the paint) so I bought the whole kit from the website below. Can't beat it for $240 and it worked out really nice. I'm wet sanding and buffing the clear today.

I think you should bring it down here in Sep for our Route 66 Rendezvous. There are only about 5 Firebirds that show up
