It is an issue about 67-69 Firebird buyer's guide but somehow her car landed on the cover and 6 pages of pics in the article. Very surprized to say the least.
Congrats, Jody! No wonder your car was on the front page, it´s one of the best looking convertibles I know of...
Also shows the fine looking dogdishes. Don´t know if you remember - we met at PY online forums. For the other members of this site I dare posting two of YOUR pics:
Have to try to get this issue over here in Germany; won´t be easy...
BTW - is it Photobucket or a new software installed on this site that downgrades the resolution of high res. pics? I just noticed it for the first time. It´s a a pity because with downgrading you´ll miss a lot of the fine details... But I´m afraid it´s Photobucket.
WOW Right on the COVER!! Now that is something. I was just listening to Dale E. Junior bragging up his 73 Camaro that was on the cover of Hot Rod. He said that when your car is on the COVER you have accomplished everything. Now you have celeb status!
Not photobucket as it is a limitation put here. All you have to do to see full size image is to right click (Mac users: CTRL and Click) on an image and open in new window.
Thanks everyone. I will probably have to buy a few copies. Yes, there was a photoshoot done for Muscle Car Enthusiast last year. Actually, they used pics of her car in the Ultimate Buyer's guide 67-69 Firebird's article, one for the cover and 6 pages inside. In the article it says nothing about the owner but what the heck. Yes, I do remember you Thomas. Hope all is going well! Tom Shaw probably kept the photos from the shoot we did a while ago and used some more for this article. It took me a minute to realize it was Karen's car at all. The pic is at a weird angle I had never seen before and it had a Pontiac Enthusiast plate on the front which I never put on. That was edited in of course. If nothing else it makes you feel good.
just go to the Pontiac Enthusiast website and order a copy. I'm subscribed to it here in the Netherlands and just receive a copy of every issue in the mail.

Besides being an H.O. car, I can dig those poverty hup-caps! That is one of the most over looked item I have ever seen. And them tires!! WOW! No wonder it is on the cover! S W E E T ...
I'd rather see a rust bucket on the road, than a garage queen anytime!!
