Both the brake pedal assembly and emergency brake pedal assembly have studs attached to them that extend through the firewall for mounting. They're 5/16" studs with very thin heads that are welded onto the assemblies.
I need one of these studs to replace a broken stud on one of my cars. I can't find them at any nut and bolt shops. Anyone ever find them anywhere?
I'm pretty sure i have the brake pedal assembly in the garage if you want it i can double check.

Thanks for that, butI hate to use up a perfectly good assembly if I can find (or fab) the correct-appearing stud. Let me keep looking before you head out to the garage.
Jake, i had a look and i have the brake pedal assembly, all 4 studs look good with just light surface rust on the rivet heads.Threads are pretty clean.Let me know.
