The first picture is my car at a local show here last Saturday (May 12).
These next two are from this past Friday (May 16). There is a local car wash out here that after they close on Friday nights, all the old cars start showing up and hanging out till about 10pm. You never know what will show up.
I parked next to the only other local Bird that I have seen around here. Two 67 convertibles...
It does get quite a lot of attention here. Was cruising around last weekend. An old Ford drove by hunking the horn, thumbs up. Only positive reactions though. "What is that, a GTO?!". "No, a Firebird..". "Thats great man, enjoy!".
been out cruising all day...having a blast and lots of classics out....here's one at "Blackie Spit", a little known out of the way bay about 20 minutes from my place.....(tides out tho...)
We were out cruisin on this beautiful Memorial Day. 80 degrees and sunny! I forgot the camera so the picture is from after we got back home. Since it's Memorial Day I wanted to include the American Flag.
Couple from sunday, interesting in the fact that I am stopped on Zero Avenue (this is about 10 minutes from my house)...the road I am on is Canada, and about 8 feet on the far side of the car is the Can/US border, so the field in the background is Washington State..
Noooo, I DID NOT take a leak into the ditch...

we dont have much Texas wine, but a few...but we have a GREAT "local" Port from Bryan ,Tx...the "private reserve" stock...from Messina-Hof Winery...not "exported" out of Texas though...too small a winery, but the port is World Class! I`ve brought some to Europe, and got great reviews..
Port is good! We have some awesome wines out of the Okanagan.
Just recieved two cases here in my office of Black Hills "Nota Bene"....just think I may have to try one before the rest goes in the cellar, "just to see where it is"
I have been to the winery in Bryan/College Station. Went there for dinner and enjoyed the wine. Hard to believe that someone from Ontario has been to the only winery in Texas.
Great spot and really friendly people.
Also went to a monstrous dance hall near Texas A&M. Wish I could remember the name of it. Texas Hall of Fame?
