Well maybe not hates but he certainly likes verdoro green better:
'Thanks for your update it was real pleasure catching up with your restored RBC '68 Firebird. Sorry you choose to paint it in a dark metallic green instead of Pontiac's famous Verdoro green which is so much a part of the heritage of that of that car.
This car along with a select group of other highly collectable Pontiacs are featured in my new book "Pontiac Pizazz" with complete histories of the development of each car. See it at www.geetotiger.com.'
When we met Jim Wangers this past Feb at the Pontiac show here in FL he asked about my car's origianl color. When I told him it was Vedoro Green his eyes lit up. He said he liked the Silver but truly loves Vedoro! I was affraid he wasn't going to sign my air cleaner lid when he found out we didn't go back to the Vedoro color. I am however considering it this fall...
didn't even comment on the 383 chevy.. -'never bullshit a bullshitter?' -Busted.
Yup. And a good one at that! What did it take, two posts? It helps that a close friend had a real one.
No only a single post..;-)
I'm wondering if he has made contact with the owner of the real one that was in my area. It's a black 67 Firebird 400 with a 428. It sold for $18K ten years ago when that was a lot for a 1st gen.
