Anybody? Does anyone know if the clips are supposed to be mounted on the body first and the moulding snapped over them OR do I have to slide the clips in the backside of the moulding first and then mount it on the body?

Slide the clips in the backside of the molding first and then mount it on the body. Then push the clips down on to the lip.Finely put screws in from underneath
Thanks Jim G. Jim (Fbody69) sent me the same instructions, so I guess I'll be trying it that way.
Another question: On the 5 screws that attacth the moulding, Are there supposed to holes in the body that these screws screw into or are they a pinch fit against the body panel.

I can field this one. They are drilled holes through the pinch weld area. The screws are very small. I found some stainless steel ones that will work at Lowes. #6 x 3/8"
I will be installing mine this weekend.
I would recommend the stainless ones as the standard steel ones I had to remove were so rusted in that I had to drill them. Would never have to do that again after spending $2.50 on the SS.

Thanks Cat, I found in the moulding manual that it calls for 7 #8x1/2" screws. I used stainless on mine as well. although the stainless are not as hard as the carbon steel variety. What bothered me was that 2 of the screws actaull go right through the pinchweld to the outside of the car (under the moulding.)
