I've read that the original pull handles are the way to go. The handles on the doors, and dash pull handle in deluxe interior cars. I've collected the pieces for my 69 and they need to be painted, what type paint and what type process should I use for best results

I've painted some parts from ivy gold to black using SEM Landeau Black. I'm happy with the results. I have not put it all back together yet to see how the test of time affects it, but I know others have had good look with it. I've painted mostley plastic pieces and the sun visors. The only prep I've used is the SEM vinyl prep which is a solvent used to remove any grease and dirt. Use light multiple coats.

I've painted plastic and metal with some stuff from year one works good, but the pulls are black and thinking parchment or Dk blue and they're like rubber will anything hold?

A buddy of mine used the paint I mentioned and painted his rubber horn button on the steering wheel he says it holds up great.
