Greetings friends it's been way to long since I have been here. Now, I have a lot of questions to ask and I'll make suire I try to post them in the correct area. A coupele of years ago I was in the miiddle of doing two 68 Birds, and became very, very ill. Some of my memory was lost and that's why I'm asking what I should already know
My 68 with a 350 and 2bbl has a small nipple on the intake in front of the carb. It's pluged, but I can't find much info on the engines for the cars. Does it have something to do with the transmission? The car came factory with a 2 speed auto, but has been upgraded to a BOP TH350. I also need help with the hoses leading from the TVS, I know the position, but not how they are supposed to lay across the intake? Right now I have them simply going from the TVZ rubber boot, to the clcations and they look like a mess. Thanks again, I will continue to try to get the birds done, although at times I was told I should sell the projects and buy something to drive I enjoy. Nawww, I'd rather do them even though I've forgotten so much of what I once knew. About many things in life, not just cars. Good day friends and thanks so much.
I sympathize with you on the memory loss, I had a "stroke-like epsiode" back in 1990 and lost a LOT of learned skills and information. Relearning is possible, but I have to work at it. Keep at it, some stuff may soon sound vaguely familiar and it gets better from there.
