One of our local Pontiac club members here runs a classic car clothing/memorabilia business that specializes in BOP (Car Crazy Merchandise).
I told him that a 1st Gen Firebird cap would be really nice to have, since most of the caps seem to focus on generic Pontiac, or 2nd Gen "Screaming Chicken" emblems.
Well folks, wait no more, it's HERE!! Hot off the presses!! This cap was JUST approved by GM and is a fully "Official Licensed Product".
(The images are a whee bit fuzzy. The stiching looks much clearer in real life. I got the first cap tonight at our monthly Pontiac meeting. Awesome.)
Cost per cap is $15. Good quality cap with cloth adjustment strap, not cheapo plastic tabs.
If you are interested, please let me know. If we can get enough folks wanting one or more caps, maybe I can get him to reduce the price due to volume. I could then ship them out to each of you for the cost of a flat-rate USPS box.

FYI,after doing a search on Google, I found these caps and other items available on their website, www.carcrazymerchandise.com However, I do like the idea of this site being the one that profits from their purchase.
I'm not sure what happened to the deal Thomas has set up. Those are nice looking hats. I would buy one but I still have a couple that I do not wear(non hat person). I have two of the tan with red car as FGF used to sell.... but I may be interested in a black as well as Thomas has posted...even though I also have a tan HALF cap....
