Hi. I'm entering year 3 on my 69 Firebird HO restoration. Body is nearly ready for painting (Matador Red) but before this happens I want to repaint the dash area the correct black colors. According to my research there were two black colors used depending upon panel/component. I have a Ditzler code 9317 as the "Flat Black" and a Ditzler code 9266 as the "Low Gloss Black".

Does anyone know if these codes are available in a spray can form or if these are available only in a mix at use form? If they are availabe in spray can I would appreciate any help in where to buy it. Alternately if you have found a close match in spray can (other brand or code) I would appreciate that info as well. SEM Landau Black (flat) and SEM Trim Black (satin) are reasonable approximations of the original finishes.

I have always gotten all of my interior colors from Classic Industries including the 2 blacks for my 1st Gen dash and all the dark blue for my 80' T/A. I have never been disappointed by CI's line of interior paints.
