I'm thinking about using the original dash panel with aftermarket gauges from Stewart Warner or Autometer, and wanted to know if anyone has done this. I'm also curious to find out if anyone has had problems switching from a mechanical to an electrical speedo.

Sizes and specs would help too, if you've got 'em.

I put 5" autometer in mine,I have mechanical speedo.Fits very good.

That's EXACTLY what I want to do, white dials and all, except I want to put the multi-gauge in the right position and the tach on the hood. Thanks!!!
