Bill, Because of the location, pictures are kind of blocked by other stuff. I have a picture that I took last year when I put in new brackets and fender extensions. I can email it to you if you want but it is not real good.
If I recall, the two holes in the ends of the bracket line up with the fender and fender extension holes. I believe the "high" part of the bracket is forward. The clearance between the bracket and dampener leg was so minimal on mine that I did not use a washer as shown in the diagrams.
