If I have everything back together correctly it seems the passenger side LOWER A arm bumper is mounted on the A Arm towards the front of the A Arm. But the spot on the frame its supposed to hit is towards the rear. (Same spot on the frame as the driver's side & the A Arm bumper is mounted towards the rear so it lines up just right) So the passenger side bumper won't hit anything. Is this correct?? May explain why my drivers side bump stop was destroyed and my passenger looked fine.
This is on a 68 350 coupe if someone can go check theirs...
From what I've seen on some others the bump stop is on the rear side. So don't know why mine is wrong? I guess I'll just drill holes in the proper place to line it up with the spot on the frame it's supposed to hit. I guess I got one of those "rare" factory screw-ups!??! Or an A Arm off something else that fits?
Here's a pic from Wouter's post, see the bump stop on opposite (correct) side.
Subframes and A-arms need to match as the bumpstop position was different for all 3 years.
'67: bump stop on the frame at the rear of the spring pocket - metal "pad" on the A-arm. So no holes to mount the rubber stops on the arm.
'68: bump stop on the arm at the rear
'69: bump stop on the arm at the front.
I believe you have an arm off a '69. Aftermarket FGF lower arms have multiple holes. Mine were also mismatched on my '67. One side was threaded for the shock bolts, the other side had "J" clips.

Makes sense. Thanks! At least it didn't come off of a mustang or something! I don't remember now but one side still had factory rivets on the ball joint and one side didn't. Also this side is a Lot harder to get installed so maybe the original got tweaked a bit in the mounts. I'll just mount it and then drill holes in the right place. Also I noticed on the drivers side the mount overhangs the a arm a little. It only can mount one way since the two holes are different sizes, but if one were to make the little hole a little bigger than you could flip the bumper around and it would look better while still contacting the frame correctly. Anyways, thanks again.
Thx. That's exactly the issue. Must be an OEM '69 on there now. Since I already blasted, painted, and pressed in bushings and ball joint, I'll take the easy route of just drilling new holes in the correct spot rather than replacing. Thx again.
