Well, you've been clued in on the sexual connotation of 69. Six and nine are subject to interpenetration as yin yang. On there side, they are the symbol for the astrological sign Cancer. Lets not forget both a divisible by 3 a prime #. 1969 IMO was the finest year of the last century... lots of great things happened that year.

My profile name; if6was9 comes from the Jimi Hendrix tune by the same name. It's been my mantra for quite some time. That came about the first time I saw the film Easy Rider sometime in the mid '70's; weirdly, the film was released in 1969.

However, it is quite likely that the title was a joke intended for other musicians. The song's structure makes heavy use of 6/9 chords. 6/9 chords are triads to which both the 6th and 9th tone are added. The resulting sound is lush and complex. 6/9 chords are frequently used by jazz artists.

The other day I was working out in the front yard trying to drill out a stripped bolt on my transmission, and not having much luck. I could see it was getting dark, as the sky was turning gold, and it was about to rain. I needed to finish, and I noticed my neighbor had just come home from work. He plays in the brass section of the Spanish symphony, but on that day he was covered in mud after slipping in his front yard.
So, I called over to him:
"Hey, dirty Sanchez!, why don't you put down that rusty trombone and come over here and help me drill my tranny, or before you know it, we'll both be covered in golden showers!"
He just looked at me funny and went in his house. Hasn't talked to me since... I'm not sure why.......

It's better to be pissed off than pissed on.
