This was my first POCI. I was expecting more prewar and 50s cars, but perhaps because it joined with GTOAA, half the cars were GTOs. Not to many FGFs, but Tom and I got to examine a significant piece of FGF history:
Unfortunately, it was missing the super spiffy Singer products designed for the up and coming music artist. I guess the idea was that you'd be driving down the road listening to tunes and have a creative idea. Instead of having to remember it, you quickly pull over, type out your lyrics and file it in one of the handy credenza file drawers. Just don't have an accident or your passenger could be wearing a tube television for a hat.
Yea, the show was mostly goats with a smattering of pre and post war Ponchos. After the GTO numbers, the GP's and Bonneville's were most present. There were just a handful of Firebirds, some very nicely restorations I might add. The un-restored Superteen Firebird and this notable 'bird were there.
John and I came up with, can you spot a difference other than everything flipped? I wish we could have seen under the hood.
