Has anyone had a problem with the dash clock knob ? when I pull mine out to set the time, the little gear on the end (inside the clock) flys off. I can't seem to get it to stay on there even by tapping it to press it on. I thought about super glue but that probably won't hold for long. Thanks !
The knob unscrews. Keep turning it clockwise until it tightens, then try pulling it out. If you've tried to tap it, you may have stripped the threads so either a clock or a knob or Loctite may be in order.

oops.. my problem is on the other end inside the clock.. there is that little brass gear pressed onto the end of the shaft, it pops off.. any ideas on that side ? thanks
If you don't go gorilla on it, a drop of the really good Locktite Threadlocker Red or Green, or a bead of epoxy around the shaft at the gear may do it. But the best way would be like Terry said, get it fixed or replace it.

I decided to try and solder it. I scuffed the top of the gear and shaft just enough to clean it up, then applied an 800degree weller solder iron to the top surface and fed it a little solder. It seemed to take well, and it works good now. No damage to any of the plastic around it or anything. I think it will hold.
