Some more pics of the console after a few coats of clear and sanded with 220 grit sand paper. I just wiped it down with wax and grease remover and it has a little sheen.
1967 firebird A.I.R. 400 or California-emissions Firebird 400 four-speed hardtop. It also came with dual factory traction bars or safe-T- track rear axle, 10 bolt posi, front power disc brakes, PS, a Muncie 4 speed, Console, Dual exhaust, dual horns, and Soft Ray Glass windshield. 1220 of them were “(WU)” 400 A.I.R. 4 barrel manual transmissions. (Engine codes in parenthesis are for cars built with AIR Injector Exhaust Control, code 616. This was an emissions reduction modification performed on the heads. They were cast with an air injection passage to reduce emissions. They were installed on Firebirds manufactured for sale in California only).

wow...that's not bad. do they have the uv protecting spray? my brother bought a carbonfiber hood 2 years ago and no it is yellow... i heard tha uv clearcoat is expensive.

68-69 Firebird consoles, modified, I shaved the character off the corners to make these easier to make. The box glues in from the bottom. The shift hole can be put anywhere you want it. I will be making automatic shifter plates too.
