I have a 1967 326 HO firebird Convertable with a red deluxe interior. The center console is currently painted red. Should it be black? Remember, this is a deluxe interior. What color should the trim around the radio and heater controls be? Wood or black? I have seen it both ways at car shows. Does anyone have a picture of both for a 67 with a deluxe interior?
Console would be red. Radio trim would be woodgrain. Black radio trim would be Camaro.
I have pics of my '67 with gold deluxe interior on my photobucket. (just imagine the gold as red - you'll get the idea)

Yes, 326-2bl. Console door is painted, pebble finish,
All the talk about black is Camaro, not Firebird.
Tell him you have the "improved" version of the Camaro. He'll like that comment.

My 67' convertible I once owned had the deluxe red interior and the console was red.Center dash and radio bezels were woodgrain. I believe fake walnut finish, unlike 68's fake burlwood finish.

The same color as the dash. Or Ames sells interior spay paint which is usually pretty darn close.
Or your local body shop should be able to color match your existing dash color and sell you a spray can. (if you have a clean area to get a reading from)

The dash colors generally have a "flatter" finish. I think the dash itself is like 80% gloss, and the top of the dash is 60%.
Vikki would likely have the exact info. She helped me with my gold interior colors.
But if you painted everything like your exterior color, just go with that. But it won't technically be correct.

The top of the dash, between the pad and windshield, is zero gloss. The front of the dash is a semi gloss, much lower than body paint, same as interior trim. 60% is a reasonable approximation.
I have the paint chips on my site, and the codes. As long as you live somewhere you can still order lacquer, you can have the original paint formula and color mixed. That's what I did, and naturally it's a perfect match for the areas that were not blasted and were sheltered for the last 40 years.
