I got along fine with Jim...I have several friends who are liberals, no big deal....we can agree on many things , the others we just agree to disagree on...
cars really dont care what your political mind set is.... but there was a very interesting 'non' proffessional survey once I heard of...saying that brands of cars , have political followings...
Chevy was mostly democratic owned, Pontiacs mostly Republican owned... of course everybody knows the stereo typing of cars in movies....the very liberal professor type drives and old orange 145 Volvo station wagon...lol... but as anything else stereo types are always wrong...
It doesn't sound credible to me that Jim would turn tail and run over politics or even political bullying. I almost always liked the guy's posts and I'd like him to come back. With that being said, I'm an outspoken conservative who sees left and right as wrong and right. The question is why should anyone who disagrees with me give a [censored]? It's just my opinion.
Everyone will disagree with everyone else on one point or another. We're all individuals.
When disagreements take a personal bent, it's crossed the line. Personality conflicts are bound to occur but they should not have to draw action from moderators.
I enjoy a good debate, and I learn a lot from the discussions. That doesn't mean I always agree.

I just wonder when we are all going to figure it out. Conservative/liberal, republican/democrat they are all the same; they all want to spend my money and none of them will spend it the way I want them to.
My personal opinion is that our politicians are masters at pitting the American citizen against one another using strongly worded rhetoric in order to distract us from their true self serving agendas.
To keep it on topic; although I did not know the people in question it is always too bad when someone that has knowledge to share decides to keep it to themselves. And as far as the politics go it never hurts to know what the other side is thinking. It's always amazed me how the relative anonymity of the internet causes some people to act in ways they never would in public.

When the conflict outweighs knowledge, I prefer status quo, as in the way the board used to be, and currently is, and has been since said departure. There is not one entity here or anywhere that I would (nor anyone) for the matter, any self-serving agenda for the sake of cheap sensationalism.
I liked Jim as well, but my opinion of him took a turn when it came to head and enough was enough. Hell, I even publicly loathed Terry (69Firebirdman) Since then, he and I have been close friends and chatted about many things. It took two idiots to stop and think, then PM each other and talk on the phone.

Hi everyone! I find it funny I haven't logged on here in months and find relatively new thread mentioning what happened to me. I haven't been kidnapped by aliens or on my honeymoon. LOL Some other things took my priority and time away from here. I could write a book about it and too long of a story to tell here. I did become a moderator on a forum for a cause and that took a lot of my time. I'm done with that now and I thought I would stop by here. Good to see many still around and some new members. I will be back again. Everyone take care!
