What are the input/output (center, staggered etc.)? Rough dimentions? Also, what size are the inlets/outlets? If they are 2-1/2" then I would definately be interested. How much do you want for them?
This is an old Pontiac dealership in Orlando, FL. This is the dealer where my friend Mike's 65 Tempest was originally purchased from. We are going to try and get all 12 of our Pontiacs down to this dealership before the place gets torn down for a group photo...
That is too funny. That was the first thing my 11 y/o son said when he saw the sign in person. He asked if they were even around back then...LOL That is awesome!
These are steel belted radials from Diamond Back Classic Tires. I ordered the Cooper brand with 3/8" width red line. I like this brand because the sidewall has NO lettering or markings at all. They will look nice and clean on the car...
Joe, can you post a link to where you ordered them?

a full set of BFG are going for $500 nowadays so all in all it's really not that bad. And you can get the BFGs with the red line from Diamond Back, they are $20 per tire more than the Coopers. I like the Coopers as they are US Made and have a clear/clean sidewall...
Diamondback is a good company. We got the whitewalls for our '34 from them. They'll smooth the tires of all lettering, looks sharp. Several of the members of our hot rod club have also purchased from them and been happy.
Accomplished a few things today. Red lines are on, centers of the Rally I's are painted semi gloss black, map light over console is fixed, brake light switch fixed, burned out T3 replaced (glad I kept the ones from the Bird). Looks like the T3 I replaced was likely the original if you can imagine that!
Next up: Cut the hole in the hood for the new hood tach, paint the new tach, new header panel and the entire hood (several chips along the front edge).
Then: The four wheel power disc conv. should be here by Monday and that goes on the car.
Received an update from the machine shop on the 400 from the Bird. Had one really bad piston, some vertical scoring in the cylinder, soooooo, .60 over (currently .30) and a new set of forged pistons (already on their way). Heads have been machined, valve job complete, ported and polished and bench flowed and ready to go! Looks like the motor should be ready next week!
Four speed conversion parts have been ordered. Wow, what a ton of parts! Also, ram air/HO exhaust manifolds from RARE and a complete mandrel bent 2-1/2" exhaust is on it's way as well! I went with the new Violator mufflers from Pypes, sure hope they bark!
It's going to be ahwile before we get to the engine, trans, exhaust because the four wheel disc conv. is next up...
The LeMans will be entered into her first show (with us) on Feb 13th as we will be attending the Pontiac drags and car show at Gainesville Raceway that weekend. Should be exciting!
Funny you would say that about the paint. In some pics the color looks medium to dark blue, in others it looks very light. In the direct sunlight, it is pretty light. Especially if you look at the very first picture I posted in this thread, it looks very med to almost dark blue. Kinda strage, I beleive it is Montruex Blue? Have to look up the paint code and see...
Thanks guys. I had a feeling the red lines and black centers would really make a difference on the blue color especially. I am VERY happy with them! And the ride, WOW. Nice and smooth!

Ooops, missed this post first time 'round. 2.5's in and out, offset. I'd have to get under the car to measure. You might check the RARE web site to see if they have the specs. They won't be coming off soon. To darn cold to be crawling around on the garage floor, and I haven't come up with replacements yet.
A few more updated pics for anyone interested. My 400 is now done, trans is done, 4-speed conv. parts arrived today (Ames), 4-wheel power disc conv. will be here tomorrow. All is moving forward. We did win 3rd place this past weekend at the Gainesville Raceway, they had BOP drags and car show. It was COLD but did have fun!
Most of the parts in the pics came from Ames (all 35 pices in stock!) a couple from PY (story to come later on about good ole PY, inquired about the same 35 parts mentioned above and ZERO in stock), a set of used pedals from Frank's Pontiac Parts (a bit pricy I beleive but quick ship and I did get a nice calendar from him as well).
