What is the correct length of the speedometer cable for a 68 400 with TH400? Between the two vendors I'm looking at they offer 4 different lengths, all for 67-68's!
I'll be unable to get to the car for a while to try to measure it. Any help would be great!
That matches the length listed in the Parts Guide on Vikki's site for your application.

From my 73 GM Pontiac parts catalog; W/O cruise control. 68-1/2" cable/67" casing.
Note it says "2367" for that listing which is a 'vert.

Actually it lists; 67-68 H.T. 2367 My guess H.T. means hard top? There is no listing for 2337 or cpe except for an upper with RA. BTY; In case its a column shift, theres no length given.
Yep, at first I assumed H.T. meant coupe. But that listing with the 2367 seemed to contradict that.
I also noticed like you that there did not seem to be specifics for a 400 coupe with a floor shift without Ram Air.
Not exactly totally helpful.

Dont know why a vert cable would be diff. Looks like they originally used a 2 pc cable, but i figure why when a 1 pc works. Been use'n a 4spd cable on my th400 for 5 yrs. But i havent gone over 6000 rpm and 140 mph...yet
I was wondering if the vert cable was longer due to the subframe x-brace support?
