I'm converting to disk brakes. Got the spindles from a donor car and promptly got all the parts mixed up. Can't see any obvious difference. Steering arms are removed. Is there a left and right?

That's a good question, from what I remember when I did mine('69 parts as well), the backing plate should go to the rear or on the right side when you are looking at the spindle, caliper mounts to the front.

I'm almost 100% positive...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I retract that last post. Found a couple pics.

Thanks for the pics! Looks like from the parts vendor, one part # for both (either) sides. So the spindles are interchangable.
