Over the weekend sucessfully pulled a leaking hydraulic ram and replaced the o-ring. Saw other topics where people stated the unit was not rebuildable but decided to give it a try. One snap ring and you can remove the o-ring that seals oil from the outside. Cost me $3.00 including the cost of a new snap ring. Took more time to remove the ram than to rebuild it.
Unfortunately no, but the assembly is very straight forward. There are only 5 parts, a nylon washer, the o-ring, a flat washer the retaining cap and a snap ring. Also I didn't mention this but the reason the ram was leaking was the snap ring was cocked in the assembly and ended up scoring the shaft. Ended up emory papering the scratches out to get it to seal. Bottom line if I was able to get this to seal with a scored shaft, I would think everyone should be able to seal up there units.
