Honestly my 1967 firebird is my dream car. It ain't a rare car but that's okay. I've only had this car for 3 months now. But it makes me want to get more pontiacs for my dad's garage!LOL I lack the space at this time. I think I need a car to go fast in... I honestly like hearing about the GTO,Lemans, bonnies,Cats, anything pontiac. I Would like to see more pics like earlybird's

I like muscle cars in general. I'd love to have a sweet setup like Jay Leno. My stable would include a '70 Boss 302, Cougar Eliminator, a Plum Crazy Hemi 'Cuda, a SS 396 Nova, and a SS 454 Chevelle.
2012 Mustang Boss 302 #1918, Competition Orange. FGF replacement 2006 Mustang V6 Pony, Vista Blue. Factory ordered. 2019 BMW X3 (Titled to the wife, but I'm always driving it for her. So I'm claiming it) Old projects, gone but not forgotten: 1967 FB 400, original CA car. After 22 years of work, trashed by the guy who was supposed to paint it. I had to sell it. 1980 Turbo Trans Am 1970 Mustang fastback, 351C 4Bbl, auto 1988 Mustang GT, 5 speed 1983 F-150 4x4, built 302 1994 Chevy K2500 HD 4x4, 454 TBI
I like all kinds of cars, old ,new, muscle, antiques, sports, American , Italian , French, Brit......it makes it hard to choose if you only have two spots!
thats why I have sold and bought a few times... always liked LBCs (Little British Cars) too, so I just bought a TR6 to use up the second spot...of copurse I bought it from a no car guy who inherited it from his car guy dad 6 yrs ago and only drove it twice...last time 2 yrs ago...so it comes DOA, wont start...I think carbs are gummed up and possibly condensation/water in the tank...we`ll see...otherwise in good shape...think "dad" restored it.
It's an older pic, and taken after a cleaning. The entire garage is kind of a mess right now. To much going on to clean it. It is on the spring cleaning list but the wife keeps moving it down the honey-do list.

I'll probably never have the dream garage....... But I'm looking forward to my son getting older and I'd like to get a 64 convert Lemans or GTO that we can work on. My 5 year old daughter already has her heart set on an older VW Bug vert...Pink of course. How can a dad resist that one.

See H.O.428 has the right idea.... 1 vert, 1 coupe, 1 go fast bird.... It was my idea before he did it or maybe I saw his garage and wished it was mine!!!!! Only my go fast pontiac would be a 70 lemans or Ventura so if I destroy it I won't be crushed....
Here was my shot at designing my garage after HO428's place...
I need to take a new picture. Lots of things have been completed since that one.

Too funny. MY friend Mike, whom I mention often also has a nice setup. He has 7 vettes and 7 Pontiacs. Two of his Vettes are in his living room and NEVER driver. They are anniversary cars, one has 211 miles (used to be in the Bollingreen Vette museum) and the other has 11k miles). The other Vettes are a 54, 64 (Silverblue w/white top and dark blue int.), another 78, 86, 96. His Pontiacs are, 68 GTO (he is the one and only owner of this car and NOBODY buy him has EVER driven the car), 65 Tempest 2-door post, 61 Safari wagon (currently being painted), 63 Catalina 2-door post, 61 Pontiac Hearse and two other Pontiacs that I can not think of right now. LOL Oh yeah, and he has 4 lifts in his yard too boot!
Is that peak to accommodate a lift? That a sweet garage, but how come all the garage doors are different? Did they let you sample designs?
Good eye John! When I posted a couple of pictures last spring, nobody noticed that. What happened was that the overhead door company forgot to order three of the right glass panel doors, so when the day came to install, they had to put in the only three they had. About a week later they swapped out the left and right ones. (the middle was the correct one)
And no, unfortunately, there is no lift. Just three stalls. The style of the garage is Queen Anne Victorian to match the house.
I want to build a second one across from the first one, but ran out of funds...

Here's one. My wife and I designed it (and built most of it) ourselves.

That is just goregeous! I had my own contracting business from 85-95 and used to do a lot of detail trim work, both inside and outside old Victorian homes in downtown Buffalo, NY.
I need to get me a new house... I live in a small second floor appartment in the centre of Amsterdam on 70 square meters with the bird stored miles a way in a storage. D@rn!
By the way, everybody sounds like 5 year olds now all of a sudden! LOL I want I want I want.
I'll take some new picts over the weekend and add them to my photobucket. All of these shots are a few years old. We have done quite a bit more since then. It's supposed to be sunny this weekend, considering it has rained here for over a week straight. But I'm not complaining, we need the rain desperatly!

Beautiful house. My search continues for the perfect Victorian. My wife and I go back and forth with the idea of building a new one rather than restoring one.

Same here, but everytime we do we start remembering what a PITA it was to build the one we're in now so we decided to enjoy "looking" at Victorian homes. We've considered a remodel to give the front a Victorian look, full porch, turret corner and such.

This one just took a deposit in my town up the street from me. My wife absolutely loves it but at $899k she's going to have to love it from afar. Supposedly they shot some movie there but I've never seen it.
I built mine somewhat heritage style with as much height as possible to capture the bay views...also designed and build by myself (well I hired framers etc but finished it myself) Its up for sale right now as I still want that acreage with room for my guys garage....
Boy, has this thread gone astray. What were we talking about again...?

Sounds like what we did, minus the bay view. Hired a GC, we did the rest. We're only on 1.6 acres but plenty of room for the 24 x 44 detached shop.
I dunno, what were we talking about?

I was just going to say the same thing. I think we were talking about Pontiacs or something.
I got my Firebird as a project to do with my dad back in 03. It was kind of like a second chance having sold my 67 camaro a few years back. I always felt bad about selling the camaro because my dad bought it for me in '96 when I got out of high school. But now I love the firebird more because It is "our project". Except now my dads sick and at the rate the resto's been going I'm afraid he might never see the day its back on the road.
So while I used to be a chevy guy, the Firebird is the epitome of a musclecar to me and I love it for every reason its not a camaro.
I found a pic of the maro. While its not a Pontiac I figure Its at least as relative as a Victorian.
And here's my garage with the bird next to the wifes '72 Nova.
