Just rebuilt the engine, but in doing so had to remove the wiper motor. Reinstalled the wiper motor exactly the same way, but now it won't shut off. Tried another motor and it does the same thing, wipers work, but will not shut off. All we did was remove the motor and reinstall it. Any ideas?
There is a thin copper grounding washer looking tab on that motor... did you reinstall it? When you say it wont shut off, do you mean when you reconnect the battery or when you turn/push the switch?
Right now it is connected & if you turn on the switch it will not shut off. I'll have to check on that ground I don't recall if it was put back on, but I don't remember missing anything.
