It's been sitting for most of a year, and what's left of the gas is pretty old. I plan to replace the tank, blow out the lines, and rebuild the carb. Next step is to replace the plugs and oil and install another Pertronix Ignitor II. Seems like a good summer project.
Nice to see you again, Miles. Do you still have the Megasquirt set-up around? If so, I may know someone who might want to know a few things about it, and possibly - if you're interested in parting with it - buying it from you.
I have the parts, yes. CPU, relay board, a couple of triple coil packs, injectors, etc. I will be happy to talk to them about it, and I don't mind parting with or parting it out
I sort of remmember your car, and might be interested in it. Michigan summers offer a few days nice enough to be out all day with a convertible, but a whole lot more coupe days.

It was new plug day today. Also checked that there was still oil and water in the right places. Also, there is the sweet smell of fuel in the carb, although also some turned gas smell. I plan to dump a can of Seafoam in the tank and add up to 4-5 gals of gas.
I won't be pushing for more progress this weekend. Maybe this coming weekend I can prime the pump and try to start it.
Well, the AC is still working, so that's a possibility. For now, I am tired. Have plans this coming couple of weekends, but maybe we'll figure something out.
