http://www.spaghettiengineering.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8 At our recent firebird cruise in Blaine from this site had them installed in his car.I was behind him and they are bright and very cool. i would like to get a set for my car sometime.he got his from the above link and said they took an hour to install.
I'll be putting in the Spaghetti tail lamps after the suspension is finished. They aren't cheap, but they are bright and get attention. If it saves me getting rear ended, they'll be cheap insurance.
I have a set on my car. They were a bit pricy, but my original bulbs were very dim and I was afraid that someone was going to plow into my rear someday, so I spent the cash and my brake lights are awesome now. Well worth what I paid for them.
I cleaned/polished my lenses and repainted the interior reflectors on the tail light assemblies. With good bulbs, they are bright and easily visible during the day. No need to spend $250 for the LED units when a little time and a can of silver spray paint will do. I should of went with chrome paint for the interior, but hindsight and all...

Ditto, I used 2357 bulbs(brighter)and covered the interior of the housing with reflective aluminum tape to help direct the light out. If anyone does get the LED's make sure to replace the flaser with a LED compatible one or they won't work.

I had done the same on our Bird. They were plenty bright. I would have to guess that even if I would have had the LED in my Bird the "undocumented visitor" would still have hit me. If she didn't see the Sheriff or his car in the middle of the road having LEDs wouldn't have made a difference...
my biggest nag is the sockets dropping out of the housing, I am now duct taped in place... thats not my style
Have you tried tweaking the grounding clip to bend it outward? I did that on the old harness before the rebuild as I had the same issue. It worked very well. With the new harness they are all almost too tight.

I did bend them, on the old ones and the new ones. But you know, I just bought the new ones from the "Help" section at the parts store, that may have something to do with it.
If were to install them, I would definately go with the sequential. That is just cool. I see the new Mustangs have the sequential and it looks awesome. Hard to beleive the old Cougars had that back in the early 70's and that was with regular bulbs!
just comparing them over the internet, Spaghetti Engineering seems to have the brighter lights over the NPD, I am basing this opinion on pictures, their video and the 128 bulbs in the description.
I think CI is selling Spaghetti as their brand, but Spaghetti states only Cascading is the operating mode. I kinda like NOT cascading?
Spaghetti also sells a better reverse light than CI.
Is the 67 Chevelle front turn signals the same as a 67 Firebird? My lens is white, but their's is yellow, but seems to be the same shape?
I am at $318 plus shipping. 1 set of lights, 1 flasher, 2 reverse lights
Spaghetti's have a switch on the board to select sequential or not. (mine are sitting in the box, work keeps gettting in the way of the good projects). I bought the tails, backups and 2 flashers from them. 1 flasher for turns, 1 for emergency. Got the front LED replacement from http://autolumination.com/. (Also uesed them and relamped the dash in LED)

thank you very much for that insight... and I know the work deal too well, watching these sunny days pass me by

I have the same problem JM especially if I pack a few things in the trunk for a trip. Tried those eBay LED bulbs and they were craaap. about half as bright as the stock bulbs...Don't think I will drop $250 tho....I polished and painted my reflectors and they are plenty bright...
Of course they are, but I had to try just the bulbs...worth a shot for a few bucks apiece....I spill more than that
Going to look at a few more options tho....maybe try the electronics shop and see if I can get similar boards to the spag ones to make up the same result...there is a small hole in the wall chinese electronics shop in town and they have every type of LED board available...betcha they could hook me up with something ...
Have to get some used housings to experiment with tho..

You are going to be pleased with the visibility. When I bought mine a couple of years ago, they did not have the sequential style, so mine are all on, all off which makes it look more stock. But I like it that way, so I got what I wanted.
