Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this:
The water neck will sometimes leak coolant very slowly (right where it meets the intake) when the car has been sitting for about a week or so. The seals are as tight as they can be and the gasket is good; I think it's leaking from the changes in temperature - hot days, cool nights.
The problem is that the leak trickles down to the front of the valley pan and into the crankcase through the PCV valve hole. Had to change the oil and filter today because of this.

The PCV hole has a raised edge. How does the coolant climb over the lip?

Those t-stat housing don't like to be overtightened either, they will warp and crack...you may actually have a hairline crack in it already, not an uncommon incident.
