OK. It has been a long,long year OF pulling this car apart and putting it back together but we are now ready to put paint on the old 69 hardtop. When I bought the car last year it had red (exterior color)on the dash (glove box door etc..) and between the dash and the front glass. I am going to put red back on the front dash metal. My question is should the area between the dash pad and front glass go the dull black for safety reasons of reflections off the front glass or does it matter? There is not much about this car that is this point is original or numbers matching so I am looking for opinions/positions from the group.
The rest of the interior is custom black with red accents.
