So if you were to give it a quick thought. How much you got in this car so far? Lots of new parts look good on the car. Basically a new car before to long.

I also need the measurement for the center of the body mount holes in the frame. mine are rusted out. I will be welding new metal in and hole sawing out the hole.
There is a kit made for repairing them. They are not very expensive, and if I remember correctly they are shaped in a way that you can position them easily.
I made a pattern of each mount from a good subframe it is shaped exactly like the mount,( bend a piece of trim coil stock over top of mount ) I marked holes then cut out bad mount and butt welded 1/8" steel in place. you cant tell it was ever replaced. I was going to get pic but battery is dead in camera I'll do it later if needed

yes I need measurements with pics , or some one close buy. so I can take the measurements my self.
is there no one on here with the frame off that can take a few pics holding a tape measure so I can see were center of the hole is? HELP A BROTHER OUT.....
http://john.my67.net - he has a page which describes what you want to do. I followed his advice but I had to replace the whole top portion on my mounts. Like you will have to do.
I used stock sheet steel and it turned out great. If you want pics I can provide. Mine were in bad shape.
Goodmark door shells actually fit well on my '67. Hope yours go on as good and everything lines up.
We did have some problems with the passenger side body lines lining up properly but that was because we hung the quarter panel first without testing door/body line fit. I can live with it though as my car is going to be a driver, not a fancy-schmancy show car!
do you still have the old piece that you cut off ? just the back of the quarter panel (drivers side) that wraps back and meets with the tail panel ? if so, how much do you want for it ? i bought a skin and realized it didn't go all the way back, and i need that piece, hate to buy a full for just that piece.

I will be using the oem doors. they just need a little work. I have the goodmark doors for sale

take a pic of the area so I know ware to cut it and its your + shipping.
here are a few photos of what i'm working with. i drew a red line on the replacement skin where i would like to cut off and weld on your piece so that it wraps around and meets with the tail panel (the replacement quarter skin doesn't have that back contour that meets the tail). my tail panel is a little beat up but i can work with that. that would be great if you have that quarter skin piece i can graft on. let me know. thanks.
darn, i was thinking it was a 69 but now i see it is a 67/68. they are different. i was comparing the tail lip that meets the quarter and as best as i can see, it is too different, it wouldn't line up. bummer. my luck. thanks alot though for offering it.
[quote=Dougs68]does this look right? its all goodmark parts. and I fit the OEM trunk lid today to check the gap. it all looks good.
Did you solve the fitment issue? I am having the same problem with my new 69 quarters, except it goes the other direction and wont lay flat in the channel. I am considering cutting off the bend and replacing with one from an original quarter unless there is an easier solution

no not yet. but I did get the gutter to fit. once I see what it looks like with a piece of weatherstipping in the area I'll know more what I need to do. but the plan is to graft a piece form what I cut off the car, if I need to. and if filling it with seam sealer works I may do that.
