Correct size rear view mirror-69 vert?

What is the correct size rear view mirror for a 1969 firebird convertible?

Is it 10 inches?

or..is it 8 inches?

bueller....bueller...anyone?

Anyone have a 69 vert and care to go and measure theirs?

Does it matter?.. is there a reason why one would be smaller then the other for the 1st gen firebirds?..

Anyone?...heh..

I believe the 10 inch is correct for the birds.

It seems to me I remember the verts using a shorter mirror. Are the visors longer in a vert maybe?

Its interesting that Ive seen 8" and 10" mirrors advertised, and since Ill be looking for one for the vert, I wanted to make sure I was getting the right size.

Im wondering if the 8" is really a camaro mirror and the companies are advertising them as being the same?

I think Ill search for a 10" unless I hear otherwise...

All I know now that I have my Firebird back on the street again (after 12 years), is that the original rear view mirror in my '67 coupe is &$%@^$% tiny.

2012 Mustang Boss 302 #1918, Competition Orange. FGF replacement

2019 BMW X3 (Titled to the wife, but I'm always driving it for her. So I'm claiming it)

'verts have the smaller mirror. I think the sunvisors on the 'verts are narrower too.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

I have an original 10" mirror out of my Bird. The backside is very nice but the mirror itself has darkening just around the very outter edge. All in all not too bad for an original if anyone is interested, I just found it yesterday...

I have 10" as well, replaced with a new one in my 68 vert. I have a question, they come with a grey rubber surround. Is this how it was for the black interior? My old one was grey (more green with age)

I'll check but I think my orig was black around the outside. The repo one I bought was gray. Or the other way round.
