Hello, does anyone know the best way to route the vacuum modulator hose/line from the trans to the engine ? its a th350 and 400 engine with headers. i can't figure out how that 3ft section of twisted pipe is supposed to go. it has 1ft pieces of rubber hose on each end. is it supposed to go between the header/engine or outside of the headers near the inner fender well ? thanks.
If it's similar to the 400/TH400 routing, it runs down the back of the engine block inboard of the passenger side head and along the passenger side of the tranny. There should be a tab with a hole that goes behind a bellhousing to engine block bolt on the passenger side.
I will bet you there is a diagram over on Vikki's First Gen Site.
