in that picture the rear frame rails are body color.

Yeah and no bushings in the rear spring eyes either. Kinda makes you wonder if there wasn't a bit of staging done for the pic.

My '68 came with the frame rails in body color and considerable body color oversprayed on the undercarriage. Mine also had with that burgundy color visable in places underneath.
What I saw was the black axle when I thought they were all steel and no apparent blue on the engine.
