OK, heres the deal, I installed a 200 4r trans in my car, it electronic?, wanting to know if and how I can get it to stop trying to go into overdrive too soon, right now, to keep it out of over drive, I have to shift the trans down 1 , then works fine, what am i doing wrong, im lost, any help?

I never drive in town in the OD, always move it down 1.

ok, thank you, i had a guy tell me he converted his to vaccum and it works fine, but, shifting down one works for me, again, thank you

Doesn't sound like you have the TV cable adjusted right. It has to be right or you'll be looking at another transmission very soon.

Adjust the cable or you will be rebuilding one soon, take it to a tranny shop they will be able to help
