Did the 69 Firebird and camaro have the same standard black seats or is the design on the vinyl different, look the same to me?

They are similar, but are indeed different.

The firebird rear seats will fit the Coupe and the Vert, but I believe the Camaro were fifferent from coupe to convertible... so for a Camaro you had to get a vert seat for a vert, and or the vert seat would be too short for the coupe etc...

But the patern for the standard is very similar.. but it is different. (especially in 67/68)

They are different, I have owned both. But just as Brett said, they are pretty close and if you order either cover they will fit. The patterns and material differ greatly depending on who you order them from. NPD has great prices and I'll post a few "before-and-after" shots if you want. The patterns are different. NPD covers are very well made though, and they matched my original interior color perfectly. I almost went for the "deluxe" front seat covers they offer but did not think the color would match my Ivy Gold, and I was right.(They admitted this over the phone and saved me the anguish).

Addendum: All comments were reference Coupe seat covers, don't know at all about the ragtop side of the story!
